My buffer has run out yet again. Here’s the thing. We’re in the process of a slow move to my mother-in-law’s. She’s only about a mile away. On one hand, that offers interesting opportunities and for a slow and more calculated (ish) move. On the other hand, that means we’re organizing two households and also that moving concerns are taking up a lot of my time.
Another plus side is the girls all get their own room. That being so, they still weren’t pleased to hear about the move because they like our current house. (I could say things about its plumbing and location and other stuff, and I probably will to whoever buys it, but … well, I won’t make that their issue.) They came around when promised the opportunity to more greatly personalize their rooms. Including paint.
Which in turn means we can’t move big things in until the rooms are painted. And we couldn’t paint until the rooms were emptied. And we couldn’t empty the rooms until some things were settled and summer visitors departed. And I was doing most of the painting because, well, I’m the one who’s home. And I wanted to get over and sleeping there before school started. Which is today for preschool which is starting a week earlier than other schools for esoteric reasons I’m sure someone understands.
Well, I finally finished painting last week and as of this writing, we’re moving the furniture in over the weekend which isn’t stressing me out at all ;D.
So I’m going to leave pictures of the painted rooms and get back to you more later. It’s been a lot going on so I’m calling this good.

We used everyone’s favorite colors and allowed them to pick stencils. I only really did the official stencil alignment with the flamingos I admit.
I’ll count this as art. See y’all around.
