Out, out, summer. Take your heat away!
Come in now, all you cooler days.
Turn the leaves to brighter hues,
Orange as the pumpkin, yellow as the moon.
Bring in the harvest, store it well,
Each garden and farm now turns to sleep
Ripening with dreams of a new year.
